Puja room should be clean. If a Puja room upstairs on the terrace, it should be attached to the Mandir. The Mandir design for home should be decorated with flowers and the floors should be covered with carpet or mattresses. If a Mandir is built in the house or on the ground floor, it should be built on a raised platform, that can be reached by stairs.
